Summary
Oil painting on canvas, A Seaside Village (possibly Branscombe, Devon), probably Eugine Matilda Fortier, Mrs Hugh Tudor (Ottawa 1856 - Hawkhurst, Kent 1952), A view of rooftops in the foreground, a cliff edge rising steeply above in the middleground. A white cottage with a brown roof and garden enclosed by a picket fence is located part of the way up the cliff on the far left. Two ivy-clad buildings are sited in a hollow below the cliff to the right. There is a view of the bay at the far right with coastline in the distance.

Purchased with the house and gardens from Mrs Ursula Tudor Perkins with the help of a grant from the NHMF in 1990
