Summary
Oil painting on canvas, King Charles II (1630–1685), after Adriaen Hanneman (The Hague c.1601 – The Hague 1671). A three-quarter-length portrait, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, dark brown shoulder-length natural hair, wearing a buff doublet, breastplate and blue sash his right arm resting on a rock his left hand holding a stick. Rocks to the left, landscape with distant horizon on the right, with stormy clouds.
