Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Nicolò Molino, Venetian Ambassador by Daniel Mytens the elder (Delft c.1590 – The Hague 1648), 1622. Full-length portrait, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, in a white falling ruff, and wearing a black robe lavishly trimmed with ermine and holding a letter with seal attached in his right hand. His left hand rests on a table table trimmed with gold braid, in the background red curtains drawn back on the right.
