Summary
A dress coat, part of a gentleman's suit with a waistcoat, made circa 1760. Made from turquoise silk unbalanced plain weave. Trimmed with collar, cuffs, ten buttons linen wrapped in turquoise floss silk and silver metal thread, eight buttons, turquoise and silver metal braid and tassels.
