Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Mary Bagot, Countess of Falmouth, later Countess of Dorset (1645-1679), after John Michael Wright (London 1617 - London 1694). Half-length portrait of a young woman, turned slightly to the left, gazing at the spectator, light brown hair worn in ringlets, which fall on both her shoulders, wearing a pale blue dress fastened with pearls and wide white sleeves, her pale mauve cloak is draped over her left arm. She wears a choker pearl necklace and pearl-drop earrings. Framed.
