Summary
Oil painting on panel, Called Lady Isabella Sackville, later Countess of Northampton (1622-1661), attributed to British (English) School, mid 17th century. A painted oval head-and-shoulders portrait of a young girl, turned slightly to the left, glancing to the right, her blonde curly hair dressed with jewels and wearing a lace figure-of-eight ruff and white dress embroidered in pink, blue green and yellow (flowers?), She also wears a jewelled necklace with a pendant pearl and pendant pearl earrings.
