Summary
Oil painting on copper, The Madonna and Child and Two Angels appearing to Saint Hyacinth in a Vision, possibly by Innocenzo Taccone (c.1560 - c.1632). St Hyacinth kneels at the right, before a vision of the Madonna and Child, who appear in clouds above an altar, accompanied by two angels, at the left; a landscape view behind the saint seen to the right of a large column. A book lies on the step in front of him. See Ludovico Carrracci's version in the Louvre for similarities in composition.
