Summary
Flower vase (‘Cuvette à fleurs Verdun’), soft-paste porcelain, missing the internal divider, the reserve painted in colours with two putti in the clouds, against a blue (‘beau bleu’) ground and painted with a vermiculated pattern in gold, Sevres Porcelain Manufactory, mark of interlaced ‘L’’s enclosing a date letter ‘G’ for 1759-60, and painters mark ’J…’, probably later decorated.
