Summary
A Meissen Ecuelle (broth bowel), one of a pair, in hard paste porcelain, the octafoil shaped bowl with ‘Gotzkowsky’ relief-moulded floral decoration, two strawberry branch handles, painted in colourful enamels with scattered naturalistic flowers and gold line bands. German, Meissen, circa 1748-55. Meissen crossed swords makers mark in blue enamel on the base.
