Oil painting on canvas, John II Bankes, MP (1692-1772), by George Dowdney (fl.1730s), inscribed on the back: '1733'. A painted oval half-length portrait, facing right, wearing a wig, a white stock and a blue jacket. The artist restored many of the pictures at Kingston Lacy in 1731.
