Portrait miniature, watercolour on ivory, Lady in a Blue Cloak, possibly Frances Payne, Mrs William Woodley (1738-1813), British (English) School, c.1775. Oval.Head and shoulders portrait, turned slightly to left, head turned slightly to right, gazing at the spectator, wearing a low-cut white dress with pink ribbons and a blue fur-trimmed cloak. Grey eyes, high powdered hair dressed with a grey ribbon, aged about 30. Plain grey gouache background.
