A lapis lazuli and enamel seal set with the monogram of King Edward VII in diamonds. Box is item 1247536. Made by Jewellers Collingwood & Co. Collingwood were jewellers to the royal family and often made commemorative tokens, gifts as well as orders and badges.
The bequest of Margaret (Anderson) McEwan, The Hon. Mrs Ronald - later Dame Margaret - Henry Fulke Greville, DBE (1863-1942) from probate records linked with the donation of the property to the National Trust in 1943.
