Enamelled circular box, fluted cushion shaped, Staffordshire c. 1770, decorated three figures on lid, barrel blue and fluted, decorated with vignettes floral bouquets on white, metal mounted and hinged lid, containing note 'With fondest love/from/Fox'

Gifted to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009) 1976, then erroneously inventoried as on loan to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009) 1976 and subsequently purchased by the National Trust from the estate of Lady Mairi Bury 2012.
