Summary
Staffordshire enamelled circular snuff box, c. 1775,the central raised polychrome cluster of fruit and flowers within a band of flowers on a chequered lilac blue ground, metal mounted and hinged lid, yellow floral band on lid and barrel.
Provenance
Gifted to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009) 1976, then erroneously inventoried as on loan to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009) 1976 and subsequently purchased by the National Trust from the Estate of Lady Mairi Bury 2012.
