Summary
One of a pair of Italian giltwood floor candlesticks, 18th century, with circular tops and triangular leaf-carved stems, on triangular leaf-carved bases with turned feet. One of the three sides undecorated. Converted for electricity.
Provenance
On loan to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009) 1980, then accepted by HM Government in lieu of Inheritance Tax and allocated to the National Trust, 2013.
