Summary
A pocket watch. c.1800. Made in Switzerland. Highly decorated case set with coloured gemstones forming the border. Enamel decoration. Gilt. Portrait of a lady in a blue dress on the back. Inscription on the face in black letters 'Abraham Colomby'. Winder and ring attached. Several gemstones missing. All components loose.

Given to the National Trust in 1985 by Violet Hartcup, Lady Sybil Bedingfeld's niece.
