Summary
A pocket watch. c.1800. Highly decorated case, with border of dark gemstones, some missing. Winder and ring attached. No hands. Inscribed 'Fres Esquivillon' and 'L'Delhoudens' inscribed in black on the face. Gilt. Portrait of a lady in a red dress, on the back, now detached. Made in Switzerland.
Provenance
Given to the National Trust in 1985 by Violet Hartcup, Lady Sybil Bedingfeld's niece.
