Bed pelmet
Summary
A bed tester pelmet, in three sections. Rose-red, gilt and green flowered silk, stiffened, lined and finished with eyeglass fringe/braid. Late 18th/early 19th Century.
Provenance
Part of the Bedingfeld Collection. The house was given to the National Trust in 1952 by Sybil, Lady Bedingfeld (1883-1985), her daughter Mrs Greathead, and her niece Violet Hartcup.
