Summary
Pelmet. Pugin design but of late C19 manufacture. Neo-Gothic gilded curtain-box in burgundy velvet with metallic and blue fringe, with fleurs-de-lis motifs at sides and a falcon and fetterlock motif in centre.
Provenance
Part of the Bedingfeld Collection. The house was given to the National Trust in 1952 by Sybil, Lady Bedingfeld (1883-1985), her daughter Mrs Greathead, and her niece Violet Hartcup.
