Summary
Pelmet. Pugin design but of late C19 manufacture. Neo-Gothic gilded curtain-box in burgundy velvet with metallic and blue fringe, with fleurs-de-lis motifs at sides and falcon and fettelock motif in centre.
Provenance
Part of the Bedingfeld Collection. The house was given to the National Trust in 1952 by Sybil, Lady Bedingfeld (1883-1985), her daughter Mrs Greathead, and her niece Violet Hartcup.
