Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Colonel Thomas Bedingfeld (d.1665), British (English) School, 17th century. Inscribed top left 'Thomas eldest son of Sir H Bedingfeld by Mary daughter of Lord William Howard of Naworth, 3rd son of Thomas Duke of Norfolk'. Inscribed in white '172' A half-length portrait of a mature man, turned to the left, gazing at the spectator wearing black with white lawn collar and black cap.
