A marquetry inlaid ebonised and walnut chest on stand, English, circa 1690 The chest with a molded cornice above two short and three long drawers each inlaid with panels of flowers and scrolling foliage within a cross banded border, the stand with a single frieze drawer with conforming inlay raised on twist turned supports and bun feet tied by a waved stretcher. The sides with inlaid panels of flowers and foliage
