Summary
An olivewood oyster veneered cabinet on an associated walnut stand. The cabinet, English, dates to circa 1700-1720 while the stand is probably mid 19th century. The cabinet has a moulded edge and a pair of cupboard doors enclosing an arrangement of nine drawers around a cupboard door (lacking interior fittings). The stand features a single long frieze drawer raised on five twist turned legs tied by wavy stretchers and bun feet. The veneers are olivewood, although the legs and stretchers, which are not original, are walnut. The metalware is also not original.
