Summary
Arrow with three-sided tip. Top binding orange and gold trellis bordered red and gold band. Bottom binding silver-gilt, floral design with green and red border. Three flight feathers. One of twenty eight arrows, the flight and tip bindings painted in red, green and black on gold. This display is a representative selection of the different decorative bindings found on arrows in the collection. Bamboo shafts. Part of a collection of 193 arrows (all given individual subparts) with different painted decoration to the flight and tip bindings; bamboo shafts. All listed separately.
