Summary
One of a pair of arm guards ('bazu band'), steel with shallow, rounded grooves running from guantlet to elbow. The two short sections are connected by rivetted brass links. The thickly overlaid gilt border decoration of flower-heads on a leaf and bud scroll. The mail gauntlets have a pattern of brass hexagons. Three leather straps to each guard, with steel buckles. the linings of red velvet with a fragment of silk brocade between the gauntlet and guard, silver gilt twill weft faced ground with a pattern of flowering plants.
