Summary
Small rosary with dark blue and white enamel beads, and white glass beads with a pearlised / lustred appearance, threaded onto pink silk cord. The rosary terminating in an elaborate pink silk rosette with pink silk and silver thread tassel. In William and Mary marquetry box (1180824).
Provenance
Rosary belonged to Barbara, Countess of Powis (1735-86). Accepted by HM Treasury on 21st March, 1963 in lieu of tax and conveyed to National Trust ownership on 29th November 1963.
