One of two false martingales, the leather keepers stamped and hatched and the middle section decorated with the Herbert crest in silver. This piece connects the standard martingale and collar.

Purchased by the National Trust from the John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and Powis Estate Trustees in March 2001.
