Summary
Cast bronze incense burner with cover, in ritual form 'ding'. The pierced cover depicting dragons among clouds, the handles in the form of dragons. Cast inscription undereneath 'Da Ming Xuande nianzhi' see catalogue pg.131. Chinese, 18th century.
Provenance
Accepted by HM Treasury on 21st March, 1963 in lieu of tax and conveyed to National Trust ownership on 29th November 1963.
