One of a pair of blue and white Kangxi (1662-1722) covered jars with scenes depicting a river or lake with ladies fishing and members of the household watching (both jars and covers cracked and rivetted).

Provenance

Purchased by the National Trust with funding from The National Heritage Memorial Fund from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and Powis Estate Trustees in August 1999.
