Summary
Oil painting on canvas, An Unknown Gentleman, attributed to Enoch Seeman the younger (Gdańsk c.1694 – London 1744). A full-length portrait, called Thomas Catesby, Lord Paget (1689-1742) but probably Sir Nicholas Bayly, 2nd Bt (1709-1782), painted at time of his marriage to Lady Caroline Paget in 1737 and almost certainly a pendant to PLN/P/36. He is wearing a blue coat, white cravat and stockings and black buckled shoes, his tricorn hat under his left arm, his right hand out to his side and pointing.
