Summary
Curtain. Crimson silk damask curtain, with crimson silk warp and crimson worsted weft. It has a warp faced satin ground with plain weave motifs and the repeat is of two alternating formal plant motifs. The lining is beige cotton twill weave warp faced satin. It is hand and machine sewn, being hemmed on four sides, with nine rings at the top and has been pieced together and darned. It is French, possibly English.
