Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Kitchen Scene and Still Life, Flemish School, early 17th century. Fish and vegetables laid out on a table; in the foreground - bread, lemons, crayfish, fish etc; earthenware dish in the middle ground; a woman in a red dress and lace cap stands behind the table holding a brass can and bends towards a leaping dog which a small boy is holding at his left.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905 – 1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
