Oil painting on panel. Painting of Simon Yorke I of Erddig (1696-1767), possibly Thomas Wright (fl. London and Worcester 1728 -1760), circa 1730, inscribed in late 18th century, with name and date of death: top left: Simon Yorke Arm:/ top right: Ob.t 1767, Aet: 71. A half-length painted oval portrait, to right, in greyish coat, gold-braided waistcoat and grey wig, in middle age.

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905 – 1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
