Summary
A chimney glass. An early 18th century, English chimney glass or over-mantle mirror with triple divided, bevelled plates within multi-bevelled, mirror glass borders. The black and gilt, japanned frame has spandrels.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
