Summary
Mirror/Pier glass. One of a pair of English, early 18th century, pier glasses, probably supplied by John Belchier in 1722-26. The rectangular divided bevelled plates within multi- bevelled mirror-glass borders, the very slender plain frames japanned and gilded with rosettes and trellis work.
Provenance
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
