Summary
A soup plate. One of four Chinese blue and white porcelain soup plates, c.1790. It is painted with bamboo and flowers on a terrace in the foreground, and also, on the far bank of a river, with a pagoda under a pine. There is a cell-pattern border.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
