Summary
Vase. One of a pair of Derby porcelain flared frill vases, c.1760. The vase is of a beaker form, with pierced 'lattice' rims and two female masks at the sides, suspending encrusted floral swags tied with ribbons and with a frill of 'stiff' leaves below. The whole is painted in colours with insects and yellow/blue rosettes.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
