Summary
A porcelain vase. One of a pair of Derby porcelain flared frill vases, c.1760. The vase is of beaker form, with pierced 'lattice' rims, two female masks at the sides, suspending encrusted floral swags tied with ribbons and with a frill of 'stiff' leaves below. The whole is painted in colours with insects and yellow/blue rosettes.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
