Caption
Lady Dorothy Boyle, Countess of Euston, was the daughter and heiress of Richard Boyle, 3rd Earl of Burlington (1695-1753) and Lady Dorothy Savile (1699-1758). In 1741 she married George, Earl of Euston (second son of Charles, 2nd Duke of Grafton, and the second to hold that title). She died a mere six months after her marriage, due, according to Cavendish tradition, to her ill-treatment at the hands of her husband.
