Summary
Oil painting on panel, A Mountainous Road Scene with the Story of Saint Peter and Cornelius, by Joos de Momper the younger (Antwerp 1564 - Antwerp 1635) and Jan Brueghel the elder (Brussels 1568 - Antwerp 1625). Although always said to represent the story of Naaman (II Kings 5), this in fact shows the episode in Acts 10: 24-26, when Cornelius the centurion went out from Caesarea with his household to meet Saint Peter, as he had been commanded in a vision by an angel.

On loan from members of the Curzon family, then acquired by Private Treaty in 1995 with help from the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
