Summary
One of two handle attachments for a late Victorian beechwood travelling armchair by J. Alderman, with a split cane back and seat, on turned legs (NT10620.1), constructed out of two curved oak segments attached by a hinge fitting along with another brass fitting at one end.

Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
