Summary
Red silk (carmine pink) damask lady's open robe and piece for petticoat. c.1760. Possibly French. Skirt lined cream silk. Closed bodice. Engagements attached to bottom of the sleeve. The front piece of the petticoat also found. Confirmed in Hornyold-Strickland family ownership following 2015/16 negotiations.
