Half-length portrait of a young child, turnd to the right, gazing at the spectator, in a white dress and blue sash. Brown eyes, fair hair, smiling, aged about 3. Greenish background, lit from overhead. 3rd daughter of Colonel J.Matthews and Elizabeth Ellis.
