Summary
An amaranth, bois satine and fruitwood marquetry secretaire a abattant, French, 19th century. Topped with white marble, above a chest faced with six short drawer fronts inlaid with floral lattice marquetry and between uprights topped with ormolu mounts. Three of the drawer fronts false and actually a fall, enclosing one long and two short drawers. Raised on a plinth with shaped apron, urn and foliate mounts and tapering square feet.
