Summary

A mahogany three-tier dumb waiter, English, circa 1770. This example of three tiers, each dished and with moulded edge, and raised on a ring and vase-turned column and on three downswept cabriole supports terminating in pointed pad feet.

Provenance

Given by Henry Hornyold Strickland (1890 – 1975) with Sizergh Castle and its estates in 1950.
