Summary

A mahogany drop-leaf table, English, circa 1750, the rectangular top with twin rectangular drop-leaves, and above ogee-arched end friezes, all raised on four tapering square-section legs with chamfered inner edges, two of which act as gates.

Provenance

Given by Henry Hornyold Strickland (1890 – 1975) with Sizergh Castle and its estates in 1950.
