Summary
A fine quality mahogany architect's, or drawing, table, English, circa 1760. The top with moulded edged and hinged at both the front and the rear and adjustable on ratchets. The drawer fitted with a fine brass handle and escutcheon withdrawing to reveal fitted compartments which can be covered by a baize-lined slide, also adjustable on a ratchet. On square-section legs with chamfers, and a ring-turned Doric column to their inner corners.
