Summary

A mahogany and glazed bookcase cabinet, English, circa 1790, having a moulded and dentilled cornice above a pair of astragal-glazed doors, the bars forming a lozenge pattern, the projecting cabinet base of two paneled doors, raised on outswept 'square' bracket feet and with a shaped apron.

Provenance

Given by Henry Hornyold Strickland (1890 – 1975) with Sizergh Castle and its estates in 1950.
