Summary
A kingwood, tulipwood and walnut writing table, or bonheur du jour, French Provincial, and in the transitional style, early 19th century, the upper section with shelf above a pair of sliding doors enclosing pigeonholes, the lower section with raised beaded edge forming a gallery, above a frieze drawer, raised on four cabriole legs.
