Summary
Play-on-word game contained in a cardboard box with lid and including 10 “what’s in a Name” folding cards and 2 key lists. The box also contains a business card with inscriptions: “Mrs A. Denis Burnett-Browns, Verdley, Burke’s road, Beaconsfield.”
Full description
In this game, the players are invited to complete the guests’ list of Mr & Mrs Dante’s daughter’s party by finding Christian names to associate to a dozen of surnames and create play-on-words. For instance, Mr Percy Vere. The cards can only been used once. However the pencilled hand-writing on them has been carefully erased. Also the business card inserted in the box would suggest that the game belonged to Katharine Mary Burnett-Brown, wife of Alexander Burnett-Brown
